Introduction:

With the Halo trilogy finally coming to an end, I’ve come to realize that there are generally two types of Halo consumers; those that love the game (often casual gamers and kids) and those that dislike the game but purchase it anyway because everyone else is getting a copy. It’s a funny thing because both camps are equally annoying and MS still reaps the huge rewards of a multi-million unit seller.

I’ve decided that for Halo 3 I’ll review the game twice – once as a believer and then again as a skeptic. In both cases there are pluses and minus so, hopefully, by reading both sides of the story you’ll get a clear picture as to how the game fairs… That’s my intention anyway. What I expect will happen is the people who love the game will deny almost all of my noted cons and the people that hate the game will ignore all of the positive things I have to say. Ideally though, the people in the middle – the ones reading this review for the sake of finding out whether or not to buy the game – will get a better, unbiased (or rather, bias from both sides), idea of what to expect from the game.
